History
MARCH, 2006-Redlin
Johnson Siding & Windows celebrated their 30th Anniversary.
Craig & Deb Hoffmann, owners
of Redlin Johnson Siding & Windows, Jamestown, announced their 30th
Anniversary and celebrated with an OPEN HOUSE.
Since 1976,
the company has helped homeowners lower their heating bills and conserve energy
with maintenance free products. In order to thank their employees and customers
for helping to reach this milestone, Craig & Deb invited the community to stop
at the remodeled showroom, view siding and energy demonstrations, and find out
more information about the $500 Energy Tax Credit for homeowners.

How it all started!
|
MAY, 1976 -
Frank & Jeannette Redlin start Redlin Insulation. |
 |
After teaching and coaching, Frank became a
school administrator. But when students threw eggs at his home at
Halloween, he looked at a new career in energy conservation. Working from the
garage of their home in May, 1976, Frank and Jeannette Redlin started
Redlin Insulation. That summer
the couple could be found with Frank blowing cellulose in the attic of Jamestown
homes, while Jeannette was dumping bags of cellulose into the hopper down below.
Soon they had two employees.

|
JUNE, 1977 - Redlin-Johnson begins with addition of Johnson’s. |
|
The
following year, Earl and Janet Johnson joined them and Redlin-Johnson came into
existence. With Earl’s Industrial Arts teaching background, Frank & Earl were
able to expand the business over the years to include US Seamless Siding,
Gutters, Soffit & Fascia, and Thermal Line vinyl replacement windows, Revere, Gentec, & Royal Box Siding, Exterior Doors, Screen Doors, & Patio Doors, in
addition to the insulation. Due to customer demand, the business soon had
fourteen employees. |
